Walking The Walk Street

Walk Street, Zhongshan City, Guangdong, China. The hometown of Sun Yat-sen. Its original name "Xiangshan Country" was changed to Zhongshan to commemorate the great democratic revolution pioneer of China.

Its architecture evidently shows the city's important position in the economic development of Guandong province.

The city's entire appearance was restored and although many new establishments are built, there is unity in the design reminiscent of China's past.

Walking the Walk Street is a walk to remember.

This may be the prettiest street I've ever seen! I would love to walk the walk! I love the colors, and especially the beautiful lanterns. What are the buildings used for? Stores? Offices? You must be thinking of that saying "Walking the walk"!

Great shots. I can see the influence in the artistry, red lanterns and ornate architecture. Just so beautifully designed and photographed by you.
Beautiful street scenes and architecture. Very well photographed.

Very strong European influence on these buildings here and they appear to be beautifully preserved.
