Ship In The City

What is this?
A ship in the city?

It's a structure built in memory of the staff of the Hongkong and Whampoa Dock Co., Ltd. who gave their lives in WW I and WW II.

It's a Mall, actually.
Location: Whampoa, Kowloon (HK)

Holy Cow!!! What strange pictures! You have to blink to make sure you're seeing right! If you took these pictures, you must have been there. How many stores? And when was it built? For shock value alone, this post wins!!

Thanks for your comment. I didn't count the stores. There are shops, restaurants, even supermarket in the basement. The top deck is a public space so you can see the view of the city from the top. This is in Hongkong.

This is one thing I wanted to see while in Hong Kong but did not have the time. I love these shots and will definitely go to see this when I visit HK again. These photos are fantastic.
