Your "heart" of the flower aptly illustrates your poem. This reminds me of the quote, "In the mountains of truth one never climbs in vain..."

What a georgous macro of this lily! I love your quote, especially about the heart giving up for truth, which is very thought provoking. Jesus came to mind here. Was that what you were thinking?
